Notice today that I recommended someones comment and it deleted the count instead of adding. I clicked again and it went down another count. Just bizarre.

I noticed that too. There was one that had almost a dozen stars, and next thing I knew, it was blank again.

It kind of reminds me of how if somebody recommends an old but popular comment of yours, your notification drop-down will say “User123 recommended your post” instead of “User123 and 100 others recommended your post”. It’s like Kinja loses track after a few weeks.

That happens to me sometimes. Just reload the page and it corrects the counter.
